Tankorr: A recurring character on Aqua Version, that is actually copyrighted by Fox Kids and several other companies and people I have no association with.
Tankorr is, as you can see, a futuristic tank transformer. He is one of Dragon Megatron's Vehicon Generals, leading the Tank Drones to battle the Maximals (good-guys). His fellow Generals are Jetstorm, wise-cracking ruler of the sky and Thrust, the tough-guy loner cycle. At first Tankorr was apparently really stupid, with a vocabulary of roughly "TANKORR SMASH! TANKOR HURT!" Later the Maximals found out that his spark (soul) was that of one of their fallen comrades, Rhinox. Rather than return to his former friends, he decided that Megatron was right! He started scheming behind the scenes, to destroy his former allies and Megatron, so that he and he alone would rule Cybertron. He was the one that found The Key to Vector Sigma and The Plasma Energy Chamber--two items of immense power established in the original series.
The Key to Vector Sigma is an anti-organic, "hand"-held weapon essentially, able to turn any organic creature into a hunk of metal. The Plasma Energy Chamber on the other hand, when opened, has a nasty tendency to lash out with bolts of energy that overload and destroy any electric/mechanical system but was harmless to organics.
Eventually a planet wide Key to Vector Sigma blaster thing was built to destroy the organic matter deep down on the lowest level of Cybertron to bait the Maximals into attack and rid Cybertron of the organic element. During a battle in which all the Maximals where blasted by the Key and started dying, Optimus Primal opened the Plasma Energy Chamber, and Megatron lashed back by firing the Key palace. Cybertron was nearly destroyed, but the Matrix (the great all-spark made up of all Transformers that ever lived and ever will live) showed him the error of his actions and gave him the chance to save Cybertron and his friends before it was too late. Optimus was able to stop the destruction of Cybertron by focusing the destructive energies and firing them off into the ultra computer Vector Sigma. Optimus died by doing it (but came back…), and so did Tankorr (he stayed dead).
In Aqua Version Continuity things happened differently, Tankorr is now the ruler of Cybertron and seeks to rid the galaxy of organic life, much like his ancestors the Decepticons planned to conquer and enslave it. In a bad turn of luck Tankorr was captured by Fanboy, can he escape, and what will he do if he does?
