Poké Battles. The wondrous creation of one Jason Ross, which has spawned into many sites over a large network.
Poké Battles is fanfiction, based over the Pokémon GB game narration system, in where authors write battles using such a system. It is both funny and fun, and many people have so fansites based from this, including myself.
Once you take
a look around here, and if you desire more, you should rightfully head off
to the main Poké Battles site.
I include
a link to there, and Jason's own battles as he writes in Red Version,
here .
Updates:
23rd July 2003 - See, sometimes I don't know why I even
wake up. Today, I'm not sure why I didn't wake up. Evidently I didn't wake
up, because I'm typing this update like it's actually goign to be posted.
Sure, like I'd ever post something. That'd be impossible. No way in the seven
thousand hells would I, Flashfire, ever get it together to throw 9 months
of hiatus into the waste paper basket (and such a long and old waste paper
basket it is), and .. think up a battle, purely because some little wouldbe-revolutionary
is trying to incite the biggest impossibility since the creation of energy.
And after all I'm doing to sound bored by the notion, it actually appears
that I give it some credit. Besides, doing the impossible is fun. Miracles
take a little longer. That's why the site didn't update immediately. But
I'll work on a miracle, and it can be called battle #48. Yes, it can.
13th October 2002
- Well, whether Jason's managed to actually update or not, I'm keeping to
one a week (see, I win our little update thingy thus far, one week to zero
^_^) - Jason has some updating to do, and two battles to credit me for - at
least if I move up two update stars, I'm assured #1 if I should place 6BQ
both times. (or high enough the second time to not drop to 5, or whatever)
If my last weeks counts as a 6, and I'm marked a 5 for this weeks, and
I lose the chance at #1 on entry because Digital double-updates and secures
a higher BQ then one week would give him chance to.. (lot of ifs, feel proud)
then I lynch Jason. ^^;
With this in mind... enjoy battle #47. OR ELSE. O_O;;
6th October 2002 - The unbelievable
has happened. Flame has come from a ten month hiatus and actually updated
with its Battle #46. I'm feeling rather interested to see if the target I
laid out for myself, which was laid out for me a few days ago, can actually
be attained at this moment.
It's gonna be a nervous few days :P - but, whatever the result, let the
cry be given far and wide, as both as the winds would see it: Flame Version
is on its Second Coming. We're back, and we're hopefully back to stay.
And I have no idea how I'm gonna update once every week with my timing,
but there you go. I can do it anyway. :D
Posted this week:
