They called him Showers. Showers the Vaporeon. He was called Showers because he had the strange ability to make it rain. He was the pokémon of a boy, along with Vaporeon’s 3 brothers, and their masters. One of his brothers was an Eevee, but he had no name. Another one of his brothers was a Flareon, named Flames, because he could make flames suddenly appear out of nowhere. His last brother was a Jolteon, named Shocking, because he could jump-start anything that seemed to have been lifeless. They lived a very nice life, with lots of attention. Vaporeon loved his master, and his brothers loved their masters. But one day, Vaporeon woke up to… woke up to…. Vaporeon suddenly awoke with a start. “Must not think of that,” he thought, “mustn’t think of… then.” He got up from where he was resting, and began to continue along the road. It seemed to him that he had been alone for weeks. He didn’t know how long ago it was when…. the fire happened. He kept the horrible memories tucked away, and didn’t want them to return. He continued along the trail, but soon he heard voices behind him. He leapt behind some bushes, into a little pond, and watched through the bushes. A pokémon trainer, with a pikachu, and another person, with some sort of egg, passed by. Showers started to listen in to what they were saying. He watched the 2 argue along the path. “Hmmm….,” he thought, “those two should get along. I have a strange feeling about those two…” Showers found this conversation getting more and more interesting. Showers fought the urge to leap out right now, and get that Meowth. Meowth began to sniff around the bushes. Showers knew he might be caught, so he quickly activated Acid Armor and sunk into the water. He hoped Meowth wouldn’t notice him. Meowth kept looking, and passed past where Showers was. He kept on looking but he didn’t find anything. Showers undid the Acid Armor and lifted his head above the water. Showers felt sort of sorry for James. As he watched the 3 walk off, he planned to follow behind the group and get that Meowth, when the time came. As Showers got out of the water, and began to walk along the trail, following the trio, he was unaware that there was another pair of red eyes up in one of the trees, who was watching Showers and Team Rocket very carefully…… |
